How to get there

Located less than a mile from Junction 2 of the A14 and only 15 miles from both the M1 and M6, Kelmarsh is easy to access and with London less than 70 miles to the South and Birmingham 50 miles to the West, it is nationally central. Kelmarsh is on the A508 between Market Harborough (5 miles to the north) and Northampton (11 miles to the south).

Driving:

From Ipswich, Cambridge and East Anglia - Take A14 west, exit at Junction 2, follow A508 north 500 metres.
From The West, North-West, Birmingham - Take M6 to junction with M1 (Junction 19) and continue on to A14; exit A14 at Junction 2, take A508 north 500 metres.
From The North, Leicester - Take M1, exit at Junction 19, take A14 and exit at Junction 2, take A508 north 500 metres.
From London and The South: - Take M1 northbound - see below:
IMPORTANT NOTE: If travelling northbound on the M1 from London, there is NO ACCESS at Junction 19 to the A14.
Option 1: Take the slip road onto the M6 towards Birmingham, and after 2.5 miles exit at M6 Junction 1. Use the roundabout to reverse direction, re-join the M6 eastbound and at Junction 19 continue onto A14. Exit at A14 Junction 2, take A508 north 500 metres.
Option 2: Continue on M1 northbound, exit at Junction 20 (Lutterworth), take A4304 east to Husbands Bosworth. At Husbands Bosworth turn right onto the A5199 towards Welford & Northampton. At junction with A14 take A14 eastbound (Cambridge, Harwich) and exit A14 at Junction 2, take A508 north 500 metres.

By Bus/Coach:
A regular coach service between the cities of Leicester and Northampton(Stagecoach Service X7) passes through Kelmarsh Village and stops there on request. Journey time from Leicester 50 mins approx, from Northampton 35 minutes approx. One coach per hour during main part of the day Monday to Saturday. Sundays restricted service, five buses per day only. By Train:
Market Harborough station, five miles from Kelmarsh, is on the Midland main line between London St Pancras (domestic) and Leicester, Nottingham and Sheffield. The journey time from London is about one hour and there are two trains per hour during weekday daytimes. Services are operated by East Midland Railways. International Rail:
For competitors travelling to the UK by Eurostar services, it is very easy to transfer from the Eurostar terminal at St Pancras International to St Pancras domestic services all under the same roof.
